Kerrie is a Distinguished Professor of Statistics and Director of the Centre for Data Science at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She is an elected Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science and the Academy of Social Sciences of Australia. Her gig is to develop methods to appropriately analyse data, and to promote data-informed decisions that benefit our world.
